"One need not be a chamber to be haunted, one need not be a house." - Emily Dickinson
Axis provides an artistic twist full of cryptic messages and surrealistic representation of a horrific moment in the life of 1930's convicted serial killer Albert Fish set in present times. The question is posed: what if a serial killer is confined to his home by a wheel chair unable to leave? The psychotic mind will not be still. The villain's hyper anxiety and frantic efforts of self-vindication will lead him to an alternate personality who will then rise and hunt down his prey with able body.
